OF
THE FIREMEN'S PENSION & RELIEF FUND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Firemen's
Pension & Relief Fund of Fayetteville, Arkansas, was held in the
City Clerk's Office on Monday, December 59 19609 at 4:30 P. M.
Present: Fire Chief Burl Skelton, Secretary George J. Davis, and
Board Members: Bill Morris, Arthur Caselinan, and Doyle Morrison.
Absent: Chairman Mayor Guy E. Brown,.Treasurer Roy Nix, and
Board Member Ellis Poore. In the absence of Chairman Mayor Guy E. Brown,
Fire Chief Burl Skelton aged as Chairman Pro TEm. _
The minutes of the regular meeting on Monday, November 79 19600
were read and approved.
The Secretary presented the authorization form to pay the November
pensions.
Mr. Morris moved that the disbursements be allowed and that the
Secretary be directed to mail the December pension checks before
Xmas.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Morrison and upon roll call the
following vote was recorded: "Aye" Skelton, Morris, Caselman, and
Morrison. "Nay" None.
• There being four "'Ayes" and No "Nays", the Chbdrman fro ?em declared
the motion passed.
The Fire Chief reported that the Firemen in regular meeting had
approved the Board of Trustees decision to invest the sum of
$10,000.00 in Savings &Loan Stock with the Springdale Savings &
Loan Co., Springdale, Arkansas) x`5000.00 has been invested at this
time.
There being no further business, Mr. Caselman moved to adjourn.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Morrison and passed unanimously,
whereupon the Chairman Pro Tem declared the meeting adjourned.
