THE FIREMEN'S PENSION & RELIEF FUND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees for the Firemen's
Pension & Relief Fund of Fayetteville, Arkansas, was held in the
City Clerk's Office on Monday, June 6, 1960, at 4:45 P.M.
Present: Chairman Mayor Guy E. Brown, Secretary George J. Davis,, 6t's'•YY'f i
Fire Chief Burl Shelton, and Board Members: Ellis Poore, Bill Morris,
Arthur Caselman, and Doyle Morrison.
Absent: None.
The minutes of the regular meeting on Monday, May 2, 1960, were read
and approved.
The Secretary presented the authorization form to pay the May Pensions.
Mr. Morrison moved the disbursements be allowed. The motion was
seconded by Mr. Poore and upon roll call the following vote was
recorded: "Aye" Skelton, Poore, Morris, Caselman, and Morrison.
"Nay" None. There being five "Ayes" and no "Nays", the Chairman
declared the motion passed.
The Secretary reported that he had received a check from the City
for the sum of $3,186.91 which was the first tax distribution received
• in 196016n"the 1959 assessment.
After a brief discussion, Mr. Skelton moved that the Secretary be and
he is hereby authorized to invest $20700.00 in First Federal Savings &
Loan Stock in Rogers, Arkansas. immediately.
The motion was seconded by Mr, Poore and upon roll call the following
vote was recorded: "Aye" Skelton, Poore, Morris, Caselman, and
Morrison. "Nay" None.
There being five "Ayes" and no "Nays", the Chairman declared the
motion passed.
There being no further business, Mr. Morrison moved to adjourn.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Skelton and passed unanimously,
whereupon the Chairman declared the meeting adjourned.
