MINUTES
OF
THE FIREMEN'S PENSION & RELIEF FUND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Firemen's Pension
and Relief Fund of Fayetteville, Arkansas, was held in the City Clerk's
Office on Monday, January 4, 19669 at 4:45 P. M.
Present: Chairman Mayor Guy E. Brown, Secretary George J. Davis,
Breasurer Roy Nig,i e�Chief'Bu`rl-"Skelton, and Board Members: Ellis
Poore, Bill Morris, Arthur Caselman, and Doyle Morrison.
Absent: None.
The minutes of the regular meeting on Monday, December 7, 1959, were
read and approved.
The Secretary presented the authorization form to pay the December
Pensions. Mr. Morris moved the disbursements be allowed. The motion
was seconded by Mr. Poore and upon roll call the following vote was
recorded: "Aye' Skelton, Poore, Morris, Caselman, and Morrison.
"Nay" None. There being five "Ayes" and No "Nays" the Chairman declared
the motion passed.
• The Secretary reported that there was a little over $1500.00 in the
Checking Fund of the Firemen's Pension & Relief Fund which would not
be needed 16or pensions before the first tax money was due for this
Fund,
Mr. Poore moved that the Secretary be and he is hereby authorized to
invest $800.00 in First Federal Savings & Loan Stock of Fayetteville,
Arkansas, and $700.00 in First Federal Savings & Loan Stock of Rogers,
Arkansas.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Morrison and upon roll call the
following vote was recorded: 'Aye" Skelton, Poore, Morrie, Caselman,
and Morrison. "Nay" None.
There being five "Ayes" and No "Nays", the Chairman declared the
motion passed.
There being no further business, Mr. Poore moved to adjourn. The
motion was seconded -by Mr. Skelton and passed unanimously, whereupon
the Chairman declared the meeting adjourned.
