The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Piremen's
Pension & delief Fund of Fayetteville, Arkansas, was held in the
City Clerk's Office on Monday, December 7, 1959.
Present: Chairman Mayor J. Austin Parish, Secretary George J. Davis,
Fire Chief Burl Skelton, and Board Members: Ellis Poore, Arthur
Caselman, Bill Morris, and Doyle Morrison.
Absent: Treasurer Roy Nix
The minutes of the regular meeting on Monday, November 2, 1959, were
read and approved.
The Secretary presented the authorization form to pay the November
Pensions. Mr. Skelton moved the disbursements be allowed. The motion
was seconded biy Mk. Poore and upon roll call the following vote was
recorded: "Aye' Skelton, Poore, Caselman, Morris, and Morrison.
"Nay" None. There being Five"Ayes" and No "Nays", the Chairman
declared the motion passed.
Mr. Poore then moved that the Secretary be and he is hereby author-
ized to invest $2000.00 in First Federal Savings & Loan Stock in
Rogers, Arkansas. The motion was seconded by Mr. Caselman and upon
roll call the following vote was recorded: "Aye" Skelton, Poore,
Caselman, Morris, and Morrison. "NA -y" None. There being Five "Ayes"
and No "Nays", the Chairman declared the motion passed.
There being no further business, Mr. Poore moved to adjourn. The
motion was seconded by Mr. Skelton and passed unanimously, whereupon
the Chairman declared the meeting adjourned.
