• THE FIREMEN'S RELIEF & PENSION FUND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Firemen's Relief
and Pension Fund was held in the City Clerk's Office on Monday,
March 29 19599 at 4:45 P. M.
Present: Chairman Mayor J. Austin Parish, Secretary George J. Davis,
Fire Chief Burl Skelton, and Board Members Doyle Morrison, Arthur
Caselman, Ellis Poore, and Bill Morris.
Absent: Treasurer Roy Nix.
The minutes of the regular meeting on Monday, February 2, 1959s
were read and approved.
The Secretary presented the authorization form to pay the February
Pensions, Mr. Morris moved the disbursements be allowed. The motion
was seconded bT Mr. Poore and upon roll call the following vote was
recorded: "Aye' Skelton, Morrison, Caselman, Poore, and Morris.
"Nay" None. There being five "Ayes" and No "Nays", the Chairman
declared the motion passed.
Mr. Poore reported that the full paid firemen had filed an affidavit
with the City Clerk requesting that 1 % be held out of the $19.96
uniform and telephone allowances to be added to the pension fund.
• There being no further business;, Mr. Poore moved to adjourn. The
motion was seconded by Mr. Morrison and passed unanimously, where-
upon the Chairman declared the meeting adjourned.
