THE FIREMEN'S RELIEF AND PENSION FUND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Firemen's Relief
and Pension Fund was held in the City Clerk's office on Monday, February
3, 19582 at 5:00 P. M.
Present: Secretary George J. Davis, Fire Chief Burl Skelton, and Board
Members: Ellis Poore, Bill Morris, Doyle Morrison, and Arthur Caselman,
Absent: Chairman Mayor J. Austin Parish and Treasurer Roy Nix.
Due to the absence of Chairman J. Austin Parish, Fire Chief Burl
Skelton acted as Chairman.
The minutes of the regular meeting on Monday, January 61 1958, were
read and approved.
The Secretary presented the authorization form to pay the January Pensions,
Mr. Morris moved that the disbursements be allowed. The motion was
seconded by Mr. Caselman and upon roll call the following vote wgs re-
corded: "Aye" Poore, Morris, Morrison, Caselman, and Skelton.
"Nay" None. There being five (5) "Ayes" and no "Nays", the Chairman
declared the motion passed.
Mr. Skelton reported that according to the budget approved by the City
• Council for 1958, Voluntary Firemen would be paid $1.50 for each fire
or fire drill attended and the same would be paid/ to full time paid
firemen when off duty.
There being no further business..Mr. Caselman moved to adjourn. The
motion was seconded by Mr. Morris and passed unanimously, whereupon
the acting Chairman declared the meeting adjourned.
