MINUTES
OF
THE FIREMEN'S RELIEF AND PENSION FUND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Firemen's Relief
and Pension Fund was held in the Mayor's Office on Monday, October 7,
1957, at 5:00 PM.
Present: Chairman Mayor Roy A. Scott, Secretary George J. Davis, Fire
Chief Burl Skelton, and Board Members: Bill Morris, Doyle Morrison,
and Arthur Caselman.
Absent: Treasurer Roy Nix and Board Member Ellis. Poore,
The minutes of the regular meeting on Tuesday, September 3, 1957, were
read and approved.
The Secretary presented the authorization form to pay the September
pensions.
�(r. Skelton moved that the disbursements be allowed,
he motion was seconded by Mr. Morrison and upon roll call the following
vote was recorded: "'Aye"' Skelton, Morris, Caselman, and Morrison.
"'Nay" None. There being four "Ayes" and no "Nays", the Chairman declared
the motion passed.

r. Slkelton brough� up the discussion of investing more money in
wilding and Loan tock if the Board Members approved.
After a brief discussion, Mr. Morris moved to invest One Thousand($1,000.)
Dollars in Building and Loan Stock.
The motion was seconded by Mr.Caselman and upon roll call the following
vote was recorded: "Aye" Skelton, Morris, Caselman, and Morrison.
!!Nay° None. There being four "Ayes" and no "Nays", the Chairman declared
the motion passed.
There being no further business, Mr. Morrison moved to adjourn.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Morris and passed unanimously, whereupon
the Chairman declared the meeting adjourned.
