FIREMEN'S RELIEF AND PENSION
FUND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Firemen's
Relief and Pension Fund was held in the Mayor's Office, Monday,
May 69 1957, at 5:00'P.M:
Present: Chairman Mayor Roy A. Scott, Secretary George J. Davis,
Fire Chief Burl Skelton, and Board Members: Ellis Poore, Bill Norris,
Arthur Caselman, and Doyle Morrison.
Absent: Treasurer, Roy Nix.
The minutes of the regular meeting of April 1, 1957, were read and
approved.
The Secretary presented to the meeting the authorisation form to pay
the April pensions.
Mr. Morris moved that the disbursements be allowed. The motion was
seconded by; Mr. Poore and upon roll call the following vote was
recorded: Aye" Skelton, Poore, Morris, Caselman, and Morrison.
"Nay" None. There being five "Ayes" and no "Nays" the Chairman
declared the motion passed.
Mr. Skelton then stated that according tt�2 t No. 94, of the 1957
Arkansas General Assembly, widows of DUrea Firemen are allowed a
• minimum pension of $60.00 per month.
Mr. Skelton then moved that Mrs. Jess Walters be paid $60.00 per month
$s allowed under this law.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Poore and upon roll call the following
vote was recorded: "Aye" Skelton, Poore, Morris, Caselman, and Morrison.
"Nay" None. There being five "Ayes" and no "Nays", The Chairman declared
the motion -passed,
There being no further business, Mr. Poore moved to adjourn. The motion
was seconded by Mr. Morrison and passed unanimously, whereupon the
Chairman declared the meeting adjourned.
