FIREMEN'S RELIEF AND PENSION FUND.
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the
Firemen's Relief and Pension Fund was held in the Mayor's
Office, Monday, September 10, 1956.
Present: Chairman, Mayor Roy A. Scott, Secretary,
Albert J. Jones, Treasurer, Roy Nix, Fire Chief Burl Skelton,
and Board Members: Doyle Morrison, Ellis Poore, Bill Morris,
and Arthur Caselman.
Minutes of the August 6, 1956 meeting were read
and approved.
Treasurer, Roy Nix, presented to the meeting the
authorization form to pay the August pensions and to open
a $500.00 savings account in the First National Bank.
Chief Skelton moved that the disbursements be allowed. The
motion was seconded by Doyle Morrison and upon roll call.
by the Secretary the following vote was recorded: "Yeas1',
Morrison, Poore, Morris, Caselman, and Skelton. 1'Nays"',
none, Whereupon the Chairman declared the motion passed
• as there were five "Yeas"and no "N'ays.1'
Chief Skelton reported that at the recent convention
the Firemen went on record as favoring the passage of the
proposed Constitutional Amendment Number 44.
There being no further business, Bill Morris moved
to adjourn. The motion was seconded by Doyle Morrison and
the Chairman declared the meeting adjourned.
