04 FIREMEN'SRELIEF AND PENSION FUND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
July 9, 1956
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees
of the Firemen's Relief and Pension Fund was held
in the Mayor's office, Monday, July 9, 1956.
Present: Chairman, Mayor Roy A. Scott, Secretary,
Albert J. Jones, Fire Chief Burl Skelton, and Board
Members, Doyle Morrison, Bill Morris, and Ellis Poore.
Absent: Arthur Caselman.
Minutes of the June 4, 1956 meeting were read
and approved.
Bill Morris, moved to approve the payment of
pension checks for the month of June. Motion was
seconded by Ellis Boore, and passed unamiously.
• Under the order of new business:
Fire Chief Burl Skelton, requested the Secretary
to furnish the Board at the next meeting, a list of
the U. S. Government Bonds owned by the Fund, and a
list of the beneficiaries of the Fund.
A brief discussion of the procedure now being
followed in the payment of pensions was held, and
it was decided to change the present method so as
to more clearly conform to the State Statutes
governing disbursal of funds.
There being no further business, Fire Chief
Burl Skelton moved to adjourn. Motion was seconded
by Bill Morris,and the Chairman declared the meeting
adjourned.
