Regular meeting of the Firemens Pension Board was
held iMonday, Auzgust 1, 1955.
Present: Chairman Roy A Scott, Secretary J,V;,McGehee,
Fire Chief Burl ckelbon, and Members: Arthur Caselman,
Doyle Morrisgou, 3ill Morris and Ellis Poore.
Minutes of the regular meeting of June 6th2 were read
and approved.
The Secretary reported that the State Insurance chk
amounting to $5,032.48 came in July 22nd, and that the
Fire Chief, Chairman and Secretarjr had bought $5,000.00
of Us,Bonds on that date, Bill Morris made a motion that
their action be approved in the purchase of the bonds,
this motion was seconded by Doyle Morrison, and was
passed unanimously. p+RssnCK, L
The Fire Chief,,�a new Act of 1955,which he
read,and one Section of which provided that the wife
of a volunteer Fireman should be paid a minimum pension
of $25.00,end that the Wife of a Full Paid Fireman
should be paid a minimum pension of $40.00 permonth,
and after discussioh, Bill Morris made a motion that
Mrs J.O.Mayebf pension be increased from ;$17.50 to •
$25.00 per month, and that Xrs.Jess Walters pension
be increased from ;$25.00 to',P40.00 permonth, both
increases to be effective, as of August 1st, 1955.
This-rmotion was seconded by Chief Skelton, and was
passed unanimously.
Dolle Morrison made a motion that the checks
'or the July Pension checks which had already been
rritten,amounting to$277.50 be approved, and that the
ension checks for August, amounting to .$300.00 be
authorized, this motion was seconded by Ellis Poore,
nd was passed unanimously.

oved toadjourn, seconded by Arthur Caselman, which was
assed unanimously, and the Chairman declared the
eeting adjourned.
