Regular meeting of the Firemens Pension Boait"
was held on Tuesday, July 6th.1954.
Present: Chairman Roy A Scott, Secretary J.V,,
McGehee, Fire Chief Burl Skelton and Iaiembers
Doyle Morris&n,'Arthur Caselman, Ellis Poore
and Bill Morris.
Minutes of the regular re)cting of June 7th were
read and apnroced.
The Secretary presented a financial statement
of the funds for the second quarter of the year,
which was as fmllows:
Balance on hand April 1st, ?955.57
Collections for the quarter 102.90

Less 3 months salaries @ ;;x277.56 832,50
Leaving a balance July lst..A 225.97
^'he Seretary also reported the receipt of
$5,201.31 from the state since July Itt, and •
recommended the purchase of "$5,000 of U.S.
Tf asury Certificates, and Bill Morris made a
motion that the Chairman and Secretary be
authorized to purchase 9'59000 of "K" series of
U.S.Bonds, this motion was'second6d by Ellis Poore
and was passed unanimously.
wire Chief Skelton made a motion that the July
checks amounting to :277.50 be authorized, this
motion was seconded by ?dill Morris, and was passed
unanimously.
There being no further business, Doyle Morrison
moved to adjourn, seconded bir Arthur Caselman, and
was passed unanimously, and the Chairman declared the
meeting adjourned.
