Regular meeting of t`ie Firemen+s Pension Board was
held on Monday, December 1, 1952.
Present: Chairman Powell M.Rhea, Secretary J.W. .
McGehee, Fire Chief Burl Skelt(hn, and members:
Doyle Morrison , Bill Morris, Ellis Poore and Floyd
Carl.

were read and approved.
'he application of Ansel Polly for a pension was pre-
sented, which was as followsf-
APPLICATIMN FOR PENSION
Comes Ansel Polly, applicant herein,and for
the purpose of this application makes known to the
above named Board of Trustees:
That he is -a resident of Fayetteville, Wash-
ington County, Arkansas,and has been duch for many
years immediately pryor to the filing of -Phis appli-
cation, that he was duly appointed and enrolled and
has served for a period of more than twenty years in
the City Fire Department of the City of Fayetteville
Arkansas, more than five years of which was,and has i
been consecutive, immediately precediftg the end of
such period, and that said Fire Department was the .,
regularly constituted Fire Department of said City
and State; and that his services in said department
have voluntarily ceased and that by virtue and reason
of Act 491 of the Acts of the Forty -Third General
Assembly of the State of Arkansas in the Year 1921s
he is entitled to be paid from the Pension lend a
monthly pension equal to one-half of the salary he
now draws.
'N -HEREFORE, premises considered, applicant,
ANSEL POLLY, prays that by proper proceedings he be
allowed a pension effective as of the date of his
resignation and in conformity with this application
and the laws of the State of Arkansas

Bill Morris made a motion that the application
of Ansel Polly be approved and that he be placed
•on the Pension List at $35.00 per month, effective
De,:,nber 1st, 1952, this motion was seconded by
Fire Chief Skelton, and was passed unanimously.
Doyle Morrison made a mo+ -ion that the December
Pension ck6 cks, amounting to :$242.50 be autharized,
this motion was seconded by Ellis Poore, and wns pas
unanimously.
There being no further business,Doyle Morrison
moved to adjourn, seconded by Bill Morris, which wiks
passed unanimously, and the Chairman declared the
meeting adjourned.

held on Moday, January 5th, 1953.
Present: Chairman Powell M.Rhea, Secretary J.P1.
McGehee,Fire Chief Burl Skelton, and Members:
Doyle tv,or.lison, Bill Morris and Ellis Poore.
Absent : Floyd Carl.
Minutes of the regular meeting of December 1st,
were read and approvel.
Chief Skelton made a motion that the pension
checks for January, amounting to $242.50 be author-
ized, seconded by Ellis Poore, which was passed
unanimously.
There being no further busihess, Bill Morris moved
to adjourn, seconded by Doyle Morrison, which was
passed unanimously and the Chairman declared the
meeting adjourned. ^_ A
