Regul^ meeting o°' the 21rPlens Pension Board
was held on Monday, J»ily 7th, 1953.
Presentt Chairman Powell M, Rhea, Secretary •
J.W.McGehee,Fire Chief 3url Skelton, and members
Doyle Morrison, Ellis Poore and Bill Morris.
Absent ;Frank Brown.
At this time Fire CI-Aof_Skelton reported
that at the regular meeting. of the Volunteer Fire-
men in June they had elected Floyd Carl as a
member of the Board to succeed Frank Brown,'Floyd
Carl being present was enrolled as a member.

Minutes of the regular meeting of J>>ne 2nd, were
read and approved. .
Pire Chief Skelton made a motion that t e chair-
man and Secretary be authorized to purchase
y$3p500.00 of War,Bonds from the surplus of funds,
this motion was seconded by Ellis Poore, and
was passed unanimously.
Bill &'.orris made a motion that the July Pension
checks amounting to 1207.50, be authorized, tliis
motion was seconded by Ellis Poore and was
passed unanimously.
There being no further business, Doyle
Norrison moved to adjourn, seconded by Floyd
Carl, whi h was passed unanimonsly, and'the
Chairmaneclared the meeting rao ned.
