^he Chairman presented 2 sections of 12-2324.
(Acts 1947 No.56) with reference to time spent in
armed forces to be counted. In computing or
granting pensions, retirementpay, eligibility list
based chn length of service, or any other right under
such Civil Service or meribt system in which length of
service is t�.e criterion, time spent by any such em-
ployee in the Armed F®rces of the United States from
September 16,1940 until December 31, 19469 shall be
counted as though such employee had remained continu-
ously in the employment of such agency,department and
/or office.
12-2325. Personsto whom preceding section applicable.
Provided, however, that any such employee must have bes
employed under the Civil Service or Merit system at the
'ime of his seperation to enter the Armed Forces and
r ch employee must have entered the Armed Forces direct,,
after leaving the employzgent of such agency depart-
nt and /or office and must have returned thereto with-
in ninety days after separation from the Armed Service.

which was passed unanimously by the Board, and the
Chairman declared the meeting adjpurned.
