The meeting was called to order by the Chairman.
Following the instructions contained in a letter of
June 28, 1949, from J.Herbert Graves, State Insurance
Commissioner, the chairman read Sections 7737 to
Section 7757 in Pope's Digest.
After discussion, and there being no fur-
ther business, Frank Brown moved to adjourn, seconded
by Burl Skelton, which was passed unanimously, and the
Chairman declared the meeting adjourned,

Present: Powell M.Rhea Chairman, J.W.McGi3hee Secretary,
Fire Chif Burl Skelton,end member W.H.Morris.
Absent: Member Frank 3row32.
Fire Chief Burl Skelton Stated that there was a
surplus of funds in theFiremen's Pension fund, and made
a motion that the Secret and Chairman be authorized
to purchase Two T housand(2,000.00) Dollars of Building
& Loan Stock, this motion was seconded by Member W.H.
Morris, and was passed unanimously
There being no further business, Burl Skeltor
moved to adjourn, seconded by W.H.Morris, which was
passed unsnimously, and the Chairman declared the
meeting adjourned.
