RegulaB meeting of the Trustees of the Fiemen's
Pensia Fund, was held om July 249 1944, with the
follaring members present:
Ohairman G.T.Sanders, Secretary J.V!.M.cGehee,
Acting Fire Chief Henry George, and members J.O.Mayes,
Marvin Murphy, Ansel Polly and Jack Page.

In support of his claim, Mr Strain had
filed the affidavits of 3 members of the Springdale
Fdre Department, Viz.: M.B.Matthews, A.M.Ballew and
John L.Downum, establishing the fact that he had
served 1 year, from October 1st, 1928 to October 1st,
1929, and the records of the Fayetteville Fire Depart-
ment established the fact that he had served the bal-
ance of the 20 year period immediately preceding the
date of his application, as a tyember of the Fayetteville
Fire Department.
After discussion, 69,r9J.O,Mayes made P
motion that Allen Strain be granted a PENSION of
$37.509 per month, effdctive June 1st, 1944, this
motion was seconded by -Mr Henry George, and on roll
call by the Secretary, was passed unanimously.
There being no further business, Mr.George
moved to a4journ, seconded by Mr.PSayes, which was
passed unanimously, and the Chairman declared the
meeting adjourned.
