reeting of the Board of Trustees of the Firemen's
VPension Fund was held on Thursday,. March 30, 1944*
with the follwi.no members present:
Chairman G.T,SanderavSecretary J.W.McGehee,
Fire Chief Henry George, and members J.O.Mayes,
Marvin Murphy, Ansel Polly and Jack Page•
Fire Chief Henry George stated that
the meeting had been called at the request of
Allen Strain to get an expression from the Board
as to whether it would be right for the Council
to raise the salary of Allen Strain for one month,
so that he would be entitled to an inellease in
pension, if, and when it was granted bir the Board
of Trustees.
After discussion, Mr George made a Motion
that it was the opinion of the Board of Trdstees,
that they did not think it would be right for the
Council to raise the salary of Allen Strain for
one month, just for the purpose of making him
eligible for an increase in Pension, this motion
was seconded by Mr Murphy, which was passed unar'
mously by the Board members.
There being no further business, Yr
Murphy made a motion to adjourn, seconded by
Mr.Mayes, which was passed unanim&usy, and the
Chairman declared the meeting adjourned
