Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Fireman's Pension Fund %vRi Yield on Friday April 8th,1932 with the following present.Chairman Mayor T.S.Tribble, Secretary 14h.F.Dunn,and members Clyde VJalters,A]len Strain,and Oscar Mayes. Minutes of the last meeting as held on May 1501931 were read and approved by the unaminous vote of all members present. The Secretary then presented the following finiancial statement for the year. After the secretary presented the required expenditure and known receipts fro the year 1932-1933,a motion was made by Mr.111alters that the Trustees buy a.?,500.00 Veterns Hospital Bond to run for a period of from 15 to 20 years.Mr.Niayes seconded the motion.Upon the question being put before the trustees the same was unaminously passed and th'e Chairman so declared and instructed Mr.PJalters and the Secretary Mv.Dunn to make the necessary arrangements with the First Nation Bank for the purchase of the same. A motion was made by Mr.L"!alters and seconded by ILr. Mayes that the Firemans Pension Fund re-emburse the Fayetteville Fire Department the sum of $20.00 for money advanced to Mr.Burt Atkission when he was Injured in making a run to a fire on East Spring St. Upon the question being put,it received the unaminous vote of the Trustees.
