•Meeting of the Poard of Trustees of theFiremen's
Relief and Pension Fund, held April 6th, 1929.'
Present,The Chairman, Mayor Allan b'. "Filson,
Secretary, City Clerk, J.C.Massie, Fire Chief,C.
I°' 111inkleman, Oscar Mayes and Hugh Barnes,mem-
bers.
The Minutes of the Meeting of May 1, 1929
were read and approved.
The Secretary reported that he ha(9 paid rept
on safety deposit box to July 29, 1929, $3.00,
which was duly approved.
The Secretary also reported that there is now
in the safety box at the First National Bank
certificates of paid-up stock in the Fayetteville
B&L Ass'n $6,000.00 and in the First Savings
Bank 8491.10.
On motion, the Secretary was directed to have
printed a supply of warrants for the use of the
Board.
• A bill for 020.00 amount due C.W. ''inkleman
for loss of time, drugs and medical attention
due to injury suspained at the fire,Ma^ch 19, 19290
�'affi3t�#�yffga4w; was pre sented;whereupon Ma -*es
moved that the bill be allowed and the Secretary
directed to issue a warrant in payment of the same.
This motion was seconded and duly passed,by the
following vote; ayes 7.1ilson, Mayes, Barnes, Massie,

I desire to retire.

Fire "epartment,effective April 8th,1929.
May I ask that you call m7r retire -
Ment to the attention of the Board of Trustees of
the Firemen's relief and Pension Fund,and advise
that body that my retirement is made in accordance
• with Section Four,lct 491,1cts of irk-insas,1921.
I first became a member of the Fay-
etteville Fire Department in 1893, and rave served

continuously as i member and officer since 1894, or
35 ,years. •
1t this time I desire to take the
opportunity to express to ,you my deep appreciation
for the support you have always given the Fire De-
partment, and for the many favors you have shown
me in the past.

As Mayor, the Chairman -announced that he had

SECTION ONE:.
That C."!. I�Iinlleman be and he
is hereby granted a tension in the sum of Twenty-
five Dollars($25.00)per month, to he payable from
and after ,1pril 8th, 1929.

That the Clerk of the City of
Fayettevilleip Arkansas is hereby authorized,directed
and instructed to issue to the said C.1% "linkleman
a voucher in the sum of Twenty-five Dollars drawn
upon the funds of the Firemen's Reoief and Pension
Fund,said vouchers to be issued monthly,from and
after April 8th, 1929.
