• Meeting of the Board of Trusteos of the Firemen's Relief
and Pension Fund, held May 7th, 1927.
Present; J.C'' Massie City Clerk of Fayetteville, and Ex -
officio Secretary, 0.17, 71inkleman, Fire Chief, Jess Wal-
ters and J.U. Mayes, members elected by the Fire Company.
Absent Mayor Allan M. Wilson, Chairman.
On motion by J.C. Massie, C.t7. Winkleman was chosen
Chairman pros tempore.
^hairman 71inkloman stated the purpose of the meeting to `
the investing of the accwtulated funds of the Board to the
end that the same should draw interest.
• ass•►Wa}tesss+ed The Minutes of the meeting of May
1st, 1926 were read and approved.
The Secretary's report showed that there was ,1,341.40 of
the funds of the Board in the First Savings Bank.
Jess Walters moved that the Secretary be directed to invest
ti. 000.00 of said funds in full plad stock of the Fayette-
ville, Building and Loan Stock on the same terms secured
for previous investments. J.U. Mayes seconded the motion
which received the following vote; ayes Massie, Winkleman 14
`Naltera, Mayes; nays none, and was declared passed by the
Chairman Fro tempore.
• Jess Walters presented a bill from Dr. McAlister for
0.00, for treatment given Walters for injury resulting
from chasing the Fire Truck. Mayes moved that the Sec-
rotary
be instructed to issue a
warrant payable to said

Walters
for the sum of 45.00 to
reimburae him for this
expense. Whis motion was duly passed.
No further business appearing the Hoard adjourned.
