MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE •
FIREMEN'S RELIER AND PENSION FUND
HELD MAY 1st, 1926.
PRESENT and presiding Mayor Allan M. Wilson,
City Clerk, J.C.Massie, Secretary, Fire
Chief C.T.VVInkleman,Jess Walters and Winton
Davis, members of the Board from the Fayette
vile Fire Company.
The report of the Secretary showed that
there was $1,194.65, on deposit to the credit
of the Board in the First National Bank.
C.W.Winkleman moved that $1,000.00 of 40
the funds be invested in the full paid-up
stock of the Fayetteville Building and Loan
Association, on the same terms that the pre-
vious investment was made. Jess Walters sec-
onded this motion which received the follow-
ing vote; ayes C.W.Winkleman, Jess Walters,
Winton Davis, J.C.Massie, nays none, and was
declared passed by the Mayor.
Jess Walters moved that the remainder of
the fund be placed on time deposit in the •
First National Bank. Winton davis seconded
this motion which received the following

'Minton Davis, J.C,Massie; nays none, and was
declared passed by the Chairman.
On motion by Walters, seconded by Davis
and passed unanimously the Secretary was di-
rected to secure a Safe -Deposit Box for the
safe -keeping of the securities owned by the
Board.
On the report of the Fire Chief to the
effect that Stewart Cook had been compelled
to have medical treatment because of exposure
at the Dormitory Fire, and had paid a bill
therefor to the amount of Nine ($9) Dollars,
Jess Walters moved that the Secretary 0/0m
be directed to pay the sum of $9.00 to the
said Stewart Cook from the funds of the
Board. C.W.Vrinkleman seconded the motion
which received the following vote; ayes
Winkleman, Walters, Davis, Massie, and was
declared passed by the Chairman.
On motion the Board adjourned.
