. MEETING 00 THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
FIREMAN'S RELIEF AND PENSION FUND,
held November 9th, 1925.
PRESENT and presiding The Mayor, Chairman of
the Board, City Clerk, Secretary of the Board
C.W.Winkleman, Fire Chief, Jess Walters and
Winton Davis, members of the Board from the
Fayetteville, Fire Company.
The Chairman stated the purpose of the meeting
to be the investment of the funds of the Board
in interest bearing securities.
I* Fire Chief Winkleman moved that as the Stock of
the Fayette ville Building and Loan Company
pays 6% interest, and offers a speedy settle-
ment in case the funds shluld become suddenly
needed, X2,500.00 of the funds now on hand be
invested in such stock. This motion was duly
seconded by Winton Davis and received the
following
vote,
Ayes
Davis,
Massie, Walters,
Winkleman;
nays
none,
and was
declared passed
by the Chairman.
On motion by Winkleman, seconded by Davis the
Chairman and the Secretary were authorized and
PAGE FOUR.
DIRECTED TOmake the necessary transfer of funds
and provide for the safe deposit of the said
stock when issued.
No further business appearing the Board Adjourned.
