OF THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION
October 20, 2003
A meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held on October 20, 2003 at 10:30 AM
in the Training Room of the Fayetteville Police Department.
PRESENT: Commissioners Coppinger, Middleton, Tune
ABSENT: Adelman, Augustine, Bittle, Ledford
Commissioner Middleton made a motion to elect Steve Coppinger as temporary
chairman for the purposes of conducting interviews for entry level police officers.
Motion was seconded by Commissioner Tune and the motion passed.
The Commission voted to set the hearing for Shane Alexander on November 12, 2003
at 9:00am.
There is currently one Battalion Chief Candidate to interview and it was decided to hold
the interview at 8:15am on November 12, 2003.
