OF THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION
September 18, 2003
A meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held on September 18, 2003 at 9:00 AM
in the HR Conference Room of the City Administration Building at 113 W Mountain St.,
Fayetteville, AR.
PRESENT: Commissioners, Ledford, Bittle, and Augustine
ABSENT. Middleton, Adelman, Tune, Coppinger
The session was called to order by Commission Chairman Bittle. The Commission
reviewed a letter submitted by Mark Martin on behalf of Joseph Tortorello. The letter
requested a continuance of the hearing scheduled for September 23, 2003.
Commissioner Ledford made a motion to deny the continuance since the original
heanng date was set in June, 2003 and one extension had already been granted.
Commissioner Augustine seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Commissioner Coppinger called in during the meeting and stated that he was in
complete agreement with denying the request to appeal.
Commissioner Augustine made a motion to adjourn and the motion carried.
