OF THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION
JUNE 12, 2002
A meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held on June 12, 2002, at 9:00 AM in
Room 111 of the City Administration Building at 113 W. Mountain Street, Fayetteville,
AR.
PRESENT. Commissioners Ledford, Billie, Middleton, Tune, Augustine, and
Coppinger
ABSENT None
The Commissioners considered and approved a request from Fire Chief Chris Bosch to
hold an early entry level Firefighter test. The date for the written test is July 22, 2002
with interview dates of July 23 and 24 set for the Commission.
Chairman Denny Tune stated that it was time for the Commission to elect a new
Chairman. Commissioner Augustine nominated Commissioner Ledford and
Commissioner Ledford nominated Commissioner Middleton. The motion to nominate
Commissioner Ledford died for lack of a second and Commissioner Augustine
seconded the motion to nominate Commissioner Middleton. Commissioner J.P.
Middleton was unanimously elected Chairman.
The meeting went into Executive Session at 9:20 AM to conduct oral interviews for
entry level police officer.
