MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE CITY BOARD OF DIRECTORS
A special meeting of the Fayetteville City, Board of Directors was held on
Wednesday, July 13, 1988 at 8:40 a.m. in Room 326 of the City Administration
Building at 113 W. Mountain Street, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
PRESENT: Mayor Johnson; Directors Lancaster, Martin, Kelley, Marinoni and
Hess; City Manager Pennington, Assistant City Manager Linebaugh,
City Clerk McWethy, members of the press and audience
ABSENT: Director Bumpass
The meeting was called to order at 8:40 a.m. by the Mayor with six Directors 245.
present.
The meeting was called by the Mayor for the purpose of considering amendments to 245.
the Articles of. Incorporation of the University of Arkansas/City Arts Center
Council and Arts Foundation.
The Mayor said the amendment were necessary in order to bring the Articles into 245.
compliance with IRS requirements for tax exemption; and to name Attorney Phyllis
Johnson as agent of record.
It was so moved by Director Kelley and seconded by Director Marinoni. Upon roll 245.
call, the motion passed, 6-0, Director Bumpass being absent.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 a.m. 245.
