MINUTES OF A SPECIAL CITY BOARD MEETING
A special meeting of the Fayetteville City Board of Directors was
held on Monday; August 3, 1987 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 326 of City
Hall, .113twest Mountain Street, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
PRESENT: Mayor Johnson; Directors Lancaster, Martin,
Kelley, Marinoni, Hess and Bumpass; City Clerk
Kennedy, City Manager applicant Kenneth Thompson,
and members of the press.
;`231..1 The meeting was called to order at 9:15 a.m. with seven Directors
present.
231.2 Director Hess made a motion that the Board meet in executive
session to interview Kenneth Thompson for the position of City
Manager. The motion was seconded by Director Martin and, upon
roll call, passed by a vote of 7-0.
The Board met in executive session with Mr. Thompson from about
9:15 a.m. to about 11:15 a.m., at which time the meeting
adjourned.
