MINUTES OF A' SPECIAL:MEETING OF THE BOARD'OF DIRECTORS.
A special meeting of the.:Fayetteville City. Board of Directors was
held on Saturday, July 20,-1985 at.9:00:A.M.:.iii Room 326' of City Hall,
113 West Mountain Street, Fayetteville, Arkansas
PRESENT: Assistant Mayor Johnson, DireCtors Bumpass, Lancaster
and Martin;Assistant_ City, iManagettNeWethy, City Attorney

ABSENT: Mayor Noland•, Directors•Hess and Orton
The meeting -was -called to order at' 9:00 A.M. by Assistant Mayor Marilyn
Johnson, with four Directors present. -.
230.1 The purposeaof the special meeting -was toiconsider passage of an', ordinance
to approve the. issuance, • sale and bond purchase: agreement for the
City. of Fayetteville Sales, and:Use Tax.Improvement .Bonds, -.to finance
the cost of acquiring; constructir[g.and equipping.additions and improve
ments.to the City.'s• wastewater collection and treatment facilities.
The ordinance'was read for the first time at a special Board meeting -
held on. July 18, 1985 and was read for the second time at a special
Board meeting held on July 19, -1985. -
230.2 Director Bumpass, seconded by.Martin, made a motion to piace the ordinance
on third reading. Upon roll^call, the motion passed, 4-0, with Directors
Hess, Noland and Orton absent.

The City Attorney -read the ordinance•for the third•time.
230.4 Director Bumpass, seconded by Martin, made a motion to approve the
passage of the ordinance. Upon roll call, the ordinance passed, 4-0.
