The:meeting was called_to order at,5:00:P.M, by -Assistant Mayor Marilyn

Johnson, with four Directors present.
The purpose,of the special.meeting•wascto consider.passage of an.ordinance,
to approve: the issuance;.:sale. and bond .,purchase agreement for the
City of -F,ayettev111e Sales,,.and .Use 'Ta* Improvement .Bonds, to .finance
the cost of.acgyiring, constructing and:,equipping additionsanftmpro'e-
ments to the City_'s. wastewater collection and treatment facilities.
The ordinance was read for the first. time at, a Special Board Meeting
held on July 18, 1985.
The City Attorney explained that the. State law requires that, when
less than fire Directors are. *esent. an .;ordinance .must be:.read at
three separate meetings; which must be held,orirthree separate.dates:
Director Bumpass, seconded by Martin, made a.motion to place the ordinance
on second reading. Upon roll call;ithe.motion.passed, 4-O,:withrDirectors
Hess, Noland and Orton absent.
The City Attorney read -the ordinance for.the second:time.
The meeting was.adjourned at 5t18 P.M.
