During the hours from 8:CO a.m. to 6:00 p.m., it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to park a vehicle of any kind whatsoever'on either side of the pavement of the following designated streets in the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas: Meadow from Church to Block Spring from Church to College SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating theprovisions of this Ordinance shall deemed quilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in a sum of not more that $25.00 for each offense." SECTION 2. It appearing that the above named streets are congested by reason of heavy traffic, and it being necessary fortthe protection of the public health, and safety, an emergency is hereby declared exi§t, and this ordinance shall be inffull force and effect -Srom and after its passage and approval. DA , CITv CLERK Alderman Short reported that the Chief of Police had requested instructions as to where or not to is parking tickets on Doctors cars. After a 1ng discussion, the Council instructed the Chief of Police to issue and collect parking tickets on Doctors' cars unless the Doctor was on an emergency call. There being no further business Alderman Heflin moved to adjourn. The motion was seconded by Alderman Bone and passed unanimously, whereupon theMayor declared the meeting adjourned. ATTEST: GEORG J. Present: Mayor Guy E. Brown, City Attorney Hugh Kincaid, City Controller Albert J. Jones, City Engineer W. C. Smith, and Aldermen: Heflin, Christie, Watson, Bone, Thomas, Burgin, Faucette, and Short. Absent: City Clerk George J. Davis. In the absence of City Clerk George J. Davis, City Controller Albert J. Jones acted as City Clerk. The Mayor reported that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the Sewer Engineering Reports by Consulting Engineers L. M. McGoodwin and John Mahaffey, and that all members of the Council had been notified by U. S. Mail and by Telephone. The Consulting Engineers 'McGoodwin & Mahaffey gave their report on the Sewerage Facilities together with a Supplemental Evaluation of Activated Sludge Sewage Treatment Plant and discussed fully with the Council Alderman Short moved that the Mayor, City Attorney, City Engineer, and Water & Sewer Committee meet with the Consulting Engineers,Mhhaffeg & McGoodwin, and discuss an overall Engineering Contract and report at the neat regular Council meeting. The motion was seconded by Alderman Christie and passed unanimously. There being no further business, Alderman Heflin moved to adjourn.
