The motion was seconded by Alderman Bone, and passed unanimously.
The Mayor Suggested that the next regular meeting of the Council be held on Tuesday, July 6,19
since the regular meeting night comes on a holiday.
This was unanimously agreed upon by the Council.
There being no further business Alderman Watson moved to adjourn. The motion -was seconded by
Alderman Thomas and passed unanimously, whereupon the Mayor declared the meeting adjourned.

The City Planner presented a petition of Leo Peel for the rezoning from R -1B Single Family
Residential District and I-2 Heavy Industrial District to C-2 Thoroughfare Commercial District of
property west of U.S. Highway 71 South between Twentieth Street and Cato Springs Road which had beeb
apprmved by the planning commission.
After a long discussion, the city Attorney introduced and, at the request of the Council, read a pro-

WHEREAS, the County Court of Washington County, arkansas, did on June 4, 1965, make an order
annexing the following described territory to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas to -wit:
Part of the Southwest Quarter (SW �) of the Northwest Quarter (NW J) of Section 12, Township
16, Range 30 West of the 5th P.M., beingodescribed as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner
of said forty acre tract; thence North 0 91 East 1326.0 feet; thence East 1000.0 feet; thence
South Oo 91 West 1326.0 feet; thence West 1000.0 feet to the point of beginning, tori aining
30.44 acres, more or less.

WHEREAS, the County Clerk of Washington County, Arkansas, has forwarded a transcript of said
