Xmas Bonus Alderman Short moved that the City Controller be authorized to issue a bonus check of Twenty Five($25.00)
Checks Dollars to each of the City Employees who have been working more than 12 months;and Ten($10.00) Dollars
�to each of theme City Employees who have been working less than 12 months, as has been done for the past
several years.
(Phe motion was seconded by Alderman Faucette and passed unanimously.
Refer RC Cola h1derman Heflin read a letter from F. H. Strong, manager of Royal Crown Cola Co. wno also appeared in
sanitation person, protesting the sanitation rates for his plant. Mr: Strong stated that he needed only one pickup a
complaintto month and the price charged was exorbitant.

WHEREAS, City Attorney Charles Bass Trumbo is retiring as -an official of our City Governement, and
WHEREAS, Charles Bass Trumbo has served as our City Attorney for a period of four years and by his
cooperation during these years, has helped the progress of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
NOV12 THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY -THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That a vote of appreciation by the City Council be extended to Charles Bass Trumbo as a
retiring member of the City Government of Fayetteville, Arkansas,
SECTION 2. That a copy of this resolution be mailed to Charles Bass Trumbo and that this resolution
be spread in the Minutes as a permanent record in the PROCEDURE OF THE CITY COUNCIL.

A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS THE NUMBER ONE TEAM IN THE NATION AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO PROCLAIM THE WEEK OF JANUARY 4 1965, RAZORBACK WEEK.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the University of Arkansas Razorback football team be and the same is hereby de-
clared to be the number one team in the nation.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,is hereby authorized and empowered
to proclaim the week commending January 4, 1965, as "RAZORBACK WEEK" in recognition of the outstanding
achievement of said team and its coach.
