Proposed Representatives from Subutan Water District No. 7 and T.J. Raney & Son, Little Rock, Arkansas appeared
new before the Council with a proposed new paragraph No. 8 for the contract between the City and Suburban
Paragraph Water District No. 7.
No. 8 After a long discussion, Alderman Thomas moved to refer this to the Water and Sewer Conmitteeand the
City Attorney for study and "recommendation.
The motion was seconded by Alderman Wheeler and passed unanimously.
Proposed I Representatives from proposed Suburban Water District No. 8 al-peared before the Council to discuss
Contract la contract and construction of water mains in their district.
& After a long discussion, Alderman Thomas moved to refer this to the 'Water and Sewer Committee and the
Constr., City Attorney for study and recommendation.

Bldg. The City Building Inspector presented a building problem of Marie Starr on McClinton Street. After
Problem a long discussion, Alderman Burgin moved that the City Building Inspector refer this to the Board of

Fincher The Mayor reported that W.S. Bronson, who was appointed to the Planning Commishion at the leattregular
Appointed meeting on Jahuary 13, 1964, lived out of the City and was not. able to serve as a member of the Planning
Planning Commission, therefore it would be necessary to appoint someone to this vacancy.
Comma The Mayor recommend,d that Wade Fincher be appointed as a member of the PlInning Commission.
AldemmAhoilheeler>_moved t6 accept the recommendation of the Mayor and appoint Wade Fincher as a member
of the Planning Commission for 6 ,years, term expiring January 1, 1970.
The motion was seconded by Alderman Heflin and passed unanimously.
Author= Alderman Burgin reported that more help was needed by the Building Inspector due to the fast growth

more The Building Inspector explained that he needed two more employees, but after a lengtbly discussion,

Remodel AAlongdiscussion was had on remodeling of the Laboratory in the City Hospital with money to be trans -

City Alderman Short moved that the Hospital Committee be authorized to meet with the Hospital Board to
Hospital study this with power to act.
The motion was seconded br Alderman Wheeler and passed unanimously.
There being no further business, Alderman Heflin moved to adjourn.
The motion was seconded by Alderman Short and passed unanimously, whereupon the Mayor declared the
meeting adjourned.
