ORDINANCE N0, 1235 N ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT AND CONFIRM THE DEDICATION OF ALL STREETS, ALLEYS, AND EASEMENTS IN A REPLAT OF LOT N0. 1, IRWIN SUBDIVISION AND STREET RELOCATION TO THE CITY OF AYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS. WHEREAS, there has been duly presented to the City Council of the City of Fayette- ville, Arkansas, a plat dated February 2, 1960, known as a Replat of Lot Noel, Irwin Subdivision and Street Relocation to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, by which the owners of the platted real estgte have dedicated for the public use the streets, alleys, and easements shown upon said plat; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, has recommended the acceptance of said plat. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS Section 1. That the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas; hereby accepts and confirms the cation of all streets, alleys, and easements, dedicated in a Replat of Lot No. 1, n Subdivision and Street Relocation to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and hereb ares said streets, alleys and easements, to be public streets, alleys, and easements the said City Council hereby assumes the care, control and jurisdiction of the same . Section 2. That.this ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect from an after its passage, approval and publication. The City Clerk read a proposed Resolution authorizjbng the City Clerk to publish notice Resolut on Iof a public hearing on a petition to close an alley located in the Ferguson Addition 5-60 n the south part of the City. lderman Burgin moved that the Resolution be adopted, the motion was seconded by Alderman Walker and passed unanimously, whereupon the Mayor declared the Resolution adopted. RESOLUTION 5-60 WHEREAS, C. W. Stewart, Nora Be Adams, W. T. Dunn, and Walter Miller have filed a petition with the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, requesting the City Council to abandon and vacate an alley located in Block Seventeen (17) of Ferguson }addition to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Special Meeting Purpose of Meeting • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS', itting in regular meeting, that,a hearing upon this petition by the City Council of 'ayetteville, Arkansas, shall be conducted on the 11th day of April, 1960, and the City lark is hereby directed to give proper notice of said hearing. McClelland, Herbert Hatfield, and Dale Kent.
