Perry Rushing, District Manager of the REA, also appeared before the Council and ubstantiated this offer. fter a brief discussion, Alderman Walker moved to accept the offer of the REA and to uthorize payment to the REA of $7,515.78 as payment in full for a voltage regulator and he cost of relocating their power lines around the new lake. he motion was seconded by Alderman Smith and passed unanimously. ere being no further business, Alderman Lunsford moved to adjourn. Crist reported that a complete tabulation of the bids Sewer showed the low bid for the Sewer Lift Stations and Sewage Treatment Facilities to be the Liflit Sta. one by Tune Construction Co., Fayetteville, Arkansas, in the total sum of $439,600.001 he recommended the contract be awarded to Tune Construction Co.,for that amount. Sewage Alderman Smith then moved to accept the bid of the Tune Construction Co:, Fayetteville ,$ Trelatment Facilities Arkansas, in total amount of $4392600.00 for bothethe Sewer Lift Stations and the Sewagel Treatment Facilities, and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and they am.e hereby authorized to to execute said contract, subject to the approval of the U. S. Department of Health, upon Tune Const. the acceptance of the Performance Bond by the City Attorney and the presentation of Co. evidence of proper insurance. The motion was seconded by Alderman Burgin and upon roll call the following vote was recorded: "Aye" Smith, Burgin, McClelland, Hatfield; Kent, and Walker. "Nay" None. Not voting Alderman Lunsford. Myers Co., Overland, Missouri, for the sum of $9,630.00, and he recommended L.E. Myers the contract be awarded them for that amount. Ca• Alderman Kent moved to accept the bid -of The L. E. Myers Co., Overland, Missouri, in the total amount of $9,630.00 to construct a 312L mile power line and a substation and that th ayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute said contract upon th acceptance of the Performance Bond by the City Attorney and the presentation of evidence of proper insurance. STREETS, ALLEYS AND EASEMENTS Mr. Paul Peevy appeared before the Council with a plat which was a replat of a part of 2) OF Meadow Vale Addition and which had been approved by the Planning Commission of Fayette- VALE SUBDIVISION ville, Arkansas. After a brief discussion, the City Clerk read a proposed ordinance entitled,"AN ORDINANC t of TO ACCEPT AND CONFIRM THE DEDICATION OF ALL STREETS, ALLEYS AND EASEMENTS IN A REPLAT of (BLOCK 2) OF.A PART OF.MEADOW.VALE SUBDIVISION TO THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS". w� , Alderman Kent moved that the rules be suspended and the ordinance placed on the second ision. reading. The motion was seconded by Alderman Burgin and passed unanimously. The ordinance was then read for the second time. 4 Alderman,Burgin then moved that the rules be further suspended and that the ordinance nee be placed on the third and final reading. ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT AND CONFIRM THE DEDICATION OF ALL STREETS, ALLEYS AND EASEMENTS REPLAT (BLOCK 2) OF A PART OF MEADOW VALE SUBDIVISION TO THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, WHEREAS, therb'.is duly filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Fayette ille, Arkansas, a replat of Block (2) Two of a part of Meadow Vale Subdivision to the ity of Fayetteville, Arkansas, in which plat the streets, alleys and easements shown hereon have been dedicated for public use as streets, alleys, and easements; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, has ecommended the acceptance of said plat. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, RKANSAS': SECTION 1.
