Ordinance, AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT AND CONFIRM THE DEDICATION OF ALL STREETS, ALLEYS AND EASEMENTS
1190.1 IN BILL HORNSBY SUBDIVISION TO THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS.

Subdibisl on.,. WHEREAS, there is duly filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City of
Fayetteville, Arkansas, a plat of Bill Hornsby Subdivision to the -City of Fayetteville,
Arkansas, being a part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 17,
Township 16 North of Range 30 West of the 5 -Ah Principal Meridian, in which plat the
streets, alleys and easements shown thereon have been dedicated for public use as
streets, alleys and easements; and

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, has
recommended the acceptance of said plat,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, hereby accepts and confirms
the dedication of all streets, alleys and easements dedicated in Bill Hornsby gubdivis
to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and hereby declares said streets, alleys and ea
ments, to be public streets, alleys, and easements, and the said City Council hereby
assumes the care, control and jurisdiction of the same.
JECTION 2. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication.

There being no further business, Alderman Walker moved to adjourn. The motion was
ded by Alderman Burgin and passed unanimously, whereupon the Mayor declared the
meeting adjourned.

anuary 8, 1959, at 2:00 P. M.
resent: Mayor J. Austin Parish, City Clerk George J. Davis, City Attorney A. D. McAllis
er, and Aldermen: Barnhart, Jmith, Lunsford, McClelland, Hatfield, Kent, and Walker.
bsent: Alderman Ellis Burgin. (Alderman Burgin entered when the Coundil reconvened
at 7:30 P.M.)
he Mayor reported that the purpose of the meeting was to receive and open bids on the
irst Program of Water Distribution Mains and rater Storage Facilities.
he Sealed bids on the Water Distribution Mains and the Water Storage Facilited were
paned by the City Clerk and read by Engineer L. M. McGoodwin.
he Mayor then referred the bids to Engineers V. M. McGoodwin and John Mahaffey for
omplete tabulation and declared the meeting adjourned until 7:30 P. 14. at which time
he Engineers would report the result of the tabulated bids.

After a long discussion, Alderman Burgin moved that the bid of Pittsburg -Des Moines I &
Elevated Construction Co., Dallas 1, Texas, in the sum of $143,800. U,,,,using the alternate item 1,_ aae.pA
