The City Council of Fayetteville, Arkansas, met in regular session on Monday, January 13,

Present: Mayor J. Austin Parish, City Clerk George J. Davis, City Auditor Albert J. Jones,
City Attorney A. D. McAllister Jr., City Engineer W. C. Smith, Chief of Police Pearl
Watts, Firgg Chief Burl Skelton, and Aldermen: Smith, Burgin, Lunsford, Williams,
Hatfield, ifent, and Walker. Absent: None.

The meeting was opened with prayer by Dr. Andrew Hall of the First Baptist Church, after

Alderman Williams moved that the rules be suspended and the ordinance placed on the
second reading.
The m6tion'was seconded by Alderman Kent and passed unanimously, whereupon the ordinance

AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT AND CONFIRM THE DEDICATION OF ALL STREETS, ALLEYS, AND EASEMENTS,
IN FINCHER SUB -DIVISION, A REPLAT OF PART OF BLOCK 2, McCLINTON ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, there is duly filed in the office of the Circuit Clerk and Ex -Officio
Recorder for Washington County, Arkansas, a plat known as Fincher Sub -Division, a repla
of -part of'Block 2, McClinton Addition to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, dated
December,1957; and being -a part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of
Section twenty=two; Township sixteen north, Range Thirty West, by which the owners of the
platted real estate have dedicated for the public use the streets, alleys, and easements
shown upon said plat.
NOW:, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL.OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
-Section 1. That the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, hereby accepts and confirms the
dedication
of all streets, alleys, and easements, dedicated in Nincher Sub -Division, a
replat of part of Block 2, McClinton Addition to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and
hereby declares said streets, alleys, and easements, to be public streets, alleys, and
easements; and the said City Council hereby assumes the care, control and jurisdiction
of the same..
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication.
Dated this 13th day of January, 1958.

discussed the proposed "Dog Licensing -Ordinance". They proposed that the Council either

unanimously.
The City Attorney reported that he had a letter from the Municipal Code Corporation of
codify- Tallahassee, Florida, offering to recodify the City Ordinances for the sum of 4850.00,
