The City Bldg Inspector presented tha application for a Permit for Fount Allen at fountain & College, Alderman Alexanddr made a motion that Permit No. 1603 be issued to Fount Allen, this motion was seconded by Alderman Bronson, and was passed unanimously by the Cpuncil. The City Attorney introduced a Resolution for the City to temporarily decline to file application for acquisition of the 15.91 acres adjacent to the Veterans Hospital in favor of Fayetteville School District No. 1 to acquire the same for School purposes, Ald man Bronson made a motion that the Resolution be adopted, this motion was seconded by Alderman Richardson, which was passed unanimously by the Council. And the Mayor declared the motion passed, as jrhere were 7 Ayes, and 1 iamager rhe question of employing an operating manager of the boating and fishing facilities at at Lake Lake Fayetteville was presented, and the Mayor stated that Mr Golden Ivey had proposed to F yettevilittake the job for a salary of $200.00 per month from March 1st through November 30th,and to pay the City 15% of all receipts in excess of $3v000.00 obtained through the operation of the concessions, Alderman Parish made a motion that Mr.Ivey be employed on the above terms and that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to execute the Contract, this motion was seconded by Alderman Williams, and was passed unanimously by the Council. (e) He shall provide all necessary light and power facilities,including electrical rvice charges for operation of boat docks and concession facilities. (f).He shall provide such assistance as may be necessary to operate the boat docks d concessions,it being understood that the City of Fayetteville shall in no way be liab' r persons so hired for their services,but that the extent of Siad City of Fayetteville, ability hereunder shall not exceed that which is agreed to be paid to Second Party reunder. 3. E.H.Hook, Sup4ntendent of the Western Methodist Assembly Limousine for LIMOUSINE Service to Mt Sequoyah from June lst to September 3rd was presented, after Service biscussion it was agreed that the request be approved and that the details would be worked out and included in the Ordinance being prepared to permit the operation of Limousine Service from Drake Field to Fayetteville. The Mayor reported that the 3 wheel motorcycle being operated by the City,was Tobuy just about worn out and the expense of operation was so much that he thought it advisable 31AhI to purchase a new one.
