Alderman -Richardson made a motion that matter..of'the old building be referred to the Fir( Chief, Building Inspector and City Engiheer for recommendation, this motion was seconded liy Alderman Burge and was passed unanimously by the Council* Alderman Richardson made a motion that the Sewer request be referred to the Sews SafetyCommittee for recommendation, this motion was seconded by Alderman Williams, and was pass ue unanimously by the Council, and they?;'were imformed that if they would raise the money to .ted help pay the bill,.that the City would blacktop their streets. The City Building Inspector presented the application of E.F.Norwood for •a permit at -Aolland's Locker Plant on West Dickson, Alderman Richardson madd a motion that Permit No. 1422 be issued to E.F.Norwood, this motion was seconded by Alderman Pratt and was passed I nanimously by the Council. redeems id No 5 The Bldg Inspector presented the application of John D.Mitchell for a permit on est 6th Street, Alderman Burge made a motion that permit no.1430 be 'issued to John D. itchell, thks moblon was seconded by Alderman Alexander and was passed unanimously by he Council. " AN ORDINANCE LIMITING AND REGULATING THE USE OF CITY SUPPLIED WATER BY AIR-CONDI- IONING SYSTEMS; REQUIRING PERSONS INSTALLING SUCH SYSTEMS TO OBTAIN A PERMIT; REQUIRING UCH SYSTEMS TO BE MUIPPED WITH WATER CONSERVATION DEVICES; ESTABLISHING STANDARDS OF PERATION; PROVIDING FOR THE INSPECTION OF THE INSTALLATION AND OPERATION THEREOF; AND ROVIDING FOR THE PENALTIES OF ITS PROVISIONS.", WHICH Ordinance had been left on its irst reading at the regular meeting of July 26th, was presented and Alderman Pratt made motion that it be placed on its second reading, this motion was seconded by Alderman IcAllister, and on roll call by the Clerk the following vote was recorded: Ayes: Richardson, urge, Hunt, Pratt, Williams, McAllister and Alexander. Nays: Hefline and the Mayor declared he motion passed, as there were 7 Ayes, and 1 nay, and dtrected that the Ordinance be tread the second time, which was done, after which, it was agreed to leave the Ordinance In is second reading. Alderman Richardson reported that the bills had and made a motion that they be allowed as approved, Alexander and was passed unanimously by the Council. beian approved by the Auditing Committ this motion was seconded by Alddrman The City Attorney introduced a Resolution authorizing the City Clerk to publish otice that the City of Fayetteville would call for redemption of September 1,1954,of and No.5 in the pr&ncipal amount of $3,200.00, maturing September 1, 1958 and issued ursuant tp the terms and provisions of Ordinance No.10010 Alderman Williams'nade a mo - ion that the Resolution be adopted, this motion was seconded by Alderman McAllister, a 'as passed unaniomously by the Council. RESOLUTION No*454 RESOLVED: That the City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized and directed to blish notice of the City of Fayettevillets election to call for redemption on Septemb 1954 Bond No 5 in the principal amount'of $39200.00, maturing September 1, 1958 and sued pursuant to the terms and provisions of Ordinance No.1001. Passed and Approved this 9th day of August, 1954.
