Fayetteville City Council met in regular session, monaay, August iu, IW04%*
Present: Mayor'Roy A.Scott, City Clerk J.W.McGehee, City Attorney A,.D..MCAllister, City
Engineer W.C.Smith, City Building Inspector Harold Liaberenz, City Auditoir'Harold Ziok,
Chief of Police Pearl Watts,, Fire Chief Burl Skelton,and Aldermen : Richardson,Burge,Huni
Pratts Williams, McAllister, Heflin and Alexander.
Minutes of the regular meeting of July 26th were read.and approved.

Alderman Richardson made a motion that the Sewer request be referred to the Sews
SafetyCommittee for recommendation, this motion was seconded by Alderman Williams, and was pass

The City Building Inspector presented the application of E.F.Norwood for •a permit at
-Aolland's Locker Plant on West Dickson, Alderman Richardson madd a motion that Permit No.
1422 be issued to E.F.Norwood, this motion was seconded by Alderman Pratt and was passed

The Bldg Inspector presented the application of John D.Mitchell for a permit on
est 6th Street, Alderman Burge made a motion that permit no.1430 be 'issued to John D.

" AN ORDINANCE LIMITING AND REGULATING THE USE OF CITY SUPPLIED WATER BY AIR-CONDI-
IONING SYSTEMS; REQUIRING PERSONS INSTALLING SUCH SYSTEMS TO OBTAIN A PERMIT; REQUIRING
UCH SYSTEMS TO BE MUIPPED WITH WATER CONSERVATION DEVICES; ESTABLISHING STANDARDS OF
PERATION; PROVIDING FOR THE INSPECTION OF THE INSTALLATION AND OPERATION THEREOF; AND
ROVIDING FOR THE PENALTIES OF ITS PROVISIONS.", WHICH Ordinance had been left on its
irst reading at the regular meeting of July 26th, was presented and Alderman Pratt made
motion that it be placed on its second reading, this motion was seconded by Alderman
IcAllister, and on roll call by the Clerk the following vote was recorded: Ayes: Richardson,
urge, Hunt, Pratt, Williams, McAllister and Alexander. Nays: Hefline and the Mayor declared
he motion passed, as there were 7 Ayes, and 1 nay, and dtrected that the Ordinance be

RESOLVED: That the City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized and directed to

1954 Bond No 5 in the principal amount'of $39200.00, maturing September 1, 1958 and

There being no further business, Alderman Hunt moved to adjourn, seconded by
Alderman Richardson, whicJ3 was passed unanimogsly by the Council, and the Mayor declarei
