There being no further business, Alderman Alexander moved to adjourn,seconded y Alderman Heflin, which' was passed unanimously by the Council, and the Mayor declared t ouncil adjourned, and -stated the next meeting would be June 7, 1954. Alderman Richardson made a motion' that the petition be referred to the Planning Commission for recommendation ,and that signs be placed on the property notifying the public Qf the petition for rezoning of the property, this motion was seconded by Alderman Willi 'so and was passed unanimously by the Council. T ilding The City Building Inspector presented the application of H.E.Swift for a Bldg, ermit at 120 W.Pdeadow, Alderman Alexander made a motion that Permit No 13.1 be issued to rmits: I.E.Swift, this motion was seconded by Alderman Pratt and was passed unanimously by the ouncil. The B1dg.'Inspector presented the application of Tom Eads for a B1dg2Permit t 208 N.Church Ave, Alderman Richardson made a motion that Permit No.1355 be issued to tom Eads, this motion was seconded by Alderman Williams, and was passed unanimously by the ouncil. The Bldg. Inspector presented the application of Bryce Davis for a permit to cdn- truct the Methodist Parsonage on N.Highland Ave., Alderman Richardson made a motion that ermit No.1360 be issued to Bryce'Davis, this motion was seconded by Alderman Burge, and was assed unanimously by the Council. The Bldg. Inspector presented the -application of Tune Construction Co. for a p t on West Dickson Street, Alderman Pratt made a motion that Permit No.1368 be issued t ne Construction Co., provideothat the strength of the Beams meets the requirements of e Building Inspector, this motion was seconded by Alderman Richardson, and was passed animously by the Council. The City Engineer presented Estimate No. 11 for Tune Construction Co., for we n the Filter Plant, amounting to $49246.12, Alderman Richardson madd a motion that Est b..11 be approved, this motion was seconded by Alderman Williams, and was passed unani y the Council. Alderman Richardson neport.ed..that the bills had peen approved by the auditi ommittee and made a motion that they be allowed as approved, this motion was seconded lderman Pratt, and was passed unanimously by the Council.
