P anning The Mayor reported that the terms of the following members of the Planning Commission
Commission xpired January 13 Viz: Arch Cloud, Tvirs.H.G.Hotz and Vine Blumenberg. And that he would

lderman Pratt made a motion that the appointments be approved, this motion was secd)nded b
y Alderman Alexander, and was passed unanimously by the Council.
The City Attorney introduced a RESOLUTION that all payments made to volunteer fire en
or attending fires,drills and meetings'shall be for the purpose of reimbursing them for
P ymnts xpenses incurred by them in attendance, Alderman Williams made a motion that the Resolution
o - e adopted, this motion was seconded by Alderman Pratt, and was passed unanimously by th
Vol.F'iremen ouncil.

`{ RESOLVED, that hereafter all payments made by the City of Fayetteville to volunteer
'iremen shall be made for the purpose of reimbursing said volunteer firemen for expenses
incurred by them in attending fires, drills and meetings rather than as compensation for
services rendered.

There being no further business, Alderman Williams moved to adjourn, seconded by
lderman Richardson, which was passed unanimously by the Council, and the Mayor declared
the Council adjourned, and stated the next meeting would be Febuuary 8th, 1954.

Permit ornmendation, and Alderman Burge, chairman of the Building Committee, made a motion that
ermit No. 1230 be issued to Dr.H.G.Kennedy, provided that he veneer outside of entire
building with 4 inch stone,brick or tile if he connects all of the units in one single
building, or,

Alderman Richardson made a motion that the contract be awarded to the OZARK FL00
701%IPANY on the L071 BID of $2,856.82, and that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to
execute the contract when a PERFORI.iANCEand PAYL�IENT Bond is filed with the City Clerk,and
that the BID BOND or CHECK of the unsuccssful bidders be returned to them; this motion was
seconded by Alderman Alexander, and was passed unanimously by the Council.
Alderman Richardson made a motion that payment for the above contract for work
at the Hospital be paid out of the Hosoital`BildinCFund, ;this motion w'as=6econd6dt�byr^

Alderman Richardson = _ that the bills had been approd by the Audit-
ing Committee, and made a motion that they be allowed as approved, this motion was seconded
by Alderman PJilliams, and was passed unanimously by the Council.
There being no further business, Alderman Heflin moved to adjourn,seconded
Alderman Burge, which was passed unanimously by the Council, and the Mayor declared t
eting adjourned, and stated the next meeting would be February 22nd,1954.
