The City Attorney introduced a RESOLUTION that all payments made to volunteer fire en or attending fires,drills and meetings'shall be for the purpose of reimbursing them for P ymnts xpenses incurred by them in attendance, Alderman Williams made a motion that the Resolution o - e adopted, this motion was seconded by Alderman Pratt, and was passed unanimously by th Vol.F'iremen ouncil. COPY OF RESOLUTION N0. 2-54 `{ RESOLVED, that hereafter all payments made by the City of Fayetteville to volunteer 'iremen shall be made for the purpose of reimbursing said volunteer firemen for expenses incurred by them in attending fires, drills and meetings rather than as compensation for services rendered. Alderman Richardson = _ that the bills had been approd by the Audit- ing Committee, and made a motion that they be allowed as approved, this motion was seconded by Alderman PJilliams, and was passed unanimously by the Council. There being no further business, Alderman Heflin moved to adjourn,seconded Alderman Burge, which was passed unanimously by the Council, and the Mayor declared t eting adjourned, and stated the next meeting would be February 22nd,1954.
