(RULES AND REGULATIONS -continued)
To insure the fulfillment of the provisions' of paragraph 3above,the City Plumbing
Inspector will inspect all plumbing both inside and outside the Corporate Limits of
the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,and renddr a certificate to the City Water Superi
tendent after the plumbing has satisfied the requirements concerned.
Inspection fees to be charged by the City Plumbing Inspector for inspections of plumb
outside the Corporate Limits of the City og Fayetteville, Arkansas,shall be the same=
as those provided by City Ordinance for inspections within the Corporate Limits of th
City of Fayetteville,Arkansas. These fees will be paid in advance of the inspection.
To each inspection charge for inspections outside the Corporate Limits a fee of y$1.00
will be charged to defray added transportation costs.
. Any new plumbing fixtures,or devises added or installed as replacements must be inspeced

and must meet the Code requirements as set forth in Paragraph 3 above.
Should the Arkansas State Board of Health establish an inspection service for plumbi:
a certificate of acceptance from this agency will be acceptable for installations ou
side the Cotporate Limits of Fayetteville, Arkansas, in lieu of the certificate from
City Pluming Inspector.
All plumbing must be maintained in good physical and operating condition. Owners or
renters, will permit authorized inspectors from the City of Fayetteville, to make
necessary inspections to determine the status and condition of all plumbing on the
premises.
. Consumers outside the Cori
o'rate Limits of the City of Fayetteville will not extend a
plumbing to other residences or other property owners and will not sell,barter or tr
water in any manner to other persons,.firms, corporations and/or partmers.
Violations of any of the provis-tons of these.rules and regulations will be full just=
fication for immediate discontinuance of service with no liability or responsibility
placed upon ythe City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, for damages incurred as a result of
discontinuance of said service.

The City Attorney presented a LEASE -Contract of Thurman Parsons, which provides
for the sodding of the land and the right to pasture stock on certain land in the vicinity
of Lake Fayetteville, Alderman Williams made aemotion that the Lease -contract be approved,
and the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to execute the contract, this motion was sect
onded by Alderman McAllister, and was passed unanimously by the Council.
There being no further business, Alderman Williams moved to adjourn, seco
by Alderman Heflin and was passed unanimously by the Council, and the Mayor dedlared t
Council adjourned, and stated the next meeting would be January 25th.

on Mt.Sequoyah Filter Plant, amounting to X13,930.80, Alderman Richardson made a motion
that Estimate No 7 be approved, this motion was seconded by Alderman Williams, and was
passed unanimously by the Council.
The City Engineer presented Engineers Estimate No:l for Fayetteville Plumbing Co,
amounting to 5148.50 for Plumbing work done on Mt.Sequoyah Filter Plant, Alderman
Richardson made a inotion that Engineer's Estimate No.l be approved, this motion was
seconded by Alderman Pratt, and was passed unanimously by the Council.

The City Engineer presented] EXTENSION NO ONE to HOTZ SUB -DIVISION, Alderman
Richardson made a motion that the Plat be referred to the Planning Commission for recom-
mendation, this motion was seconded by Alderman Alexander, and was passed unanimously b;
the Council.
The City Building Inspector presented the application of Oliver Lollar for a Perr
to build a Motel on North College Avenue 2 doors north of the former First Prebyterian
Church Building, Alderman Hunt made a motion that Premit No.1225 be issued to Oliver
Lollar, subject to Surveyor's Certificate of the Plat,'this motion was seconded by Alder
man Williams and was passed unanimously by the Council.
The Building inspector presented the application of Dr.H.G.Kennedy, owner of
the Dunn-Romin Tourist Court on College Avenue and Trenton Street for a.Permit, Alderma
Hunt made a motion that the request be referred to the Building Committee for study and
recommendation; this motion was seconded by Alderman 171illiams and was passed unanimousl
by the Council.

The City Attorney introduced a Resolution directing the City Clerk to publish a notice
in the Northwest Arkansas Times of the filing of the Petition of P.H.Burnebt to close
a portion of the Old Farmington Road,PTorth of Blocl> 1, Westwood Addition and south of
U.S.Highway No.62, and fixing the date of a hearing on said petition for February 22nd,
1954, Alderman Williams made a motion that the Resolution be adopted, this motion was
seconded by Alderman Pratt .and was passed unanimously by the Council.

ille, Arkansas, alleging that he is the owner of all of the real estate on both sides of he

nd south of U.S.Highway No.62, and that said road has been abandoned for more than 20 ye rs,
