The City Building Inspector presented the application of Tune Constructioh for a permi' o remodel the the Hathcock Clinic Bldg, Alderrpan Kent made a motion that Permit No.1200 e issued'to Tune Construction Co; this motion was sedonded.by Alderman Pratt, and was assed unanimously by the Council. The City Building Inspector presented the application of F.A.Pothast for a perm: t 1140 North College Ave. Alderman Heflin made a motion that Permit No. 1206 be issued 1 .A.Pothast; this motion was seconded by Alderman Burge, and was passed unanimously by he Council. The City Attorney ntroduced "ADI ORDINANCE TO FIX LICENSE FEES ASSESSED ON OTOR �TEHICLES AND TRAILERS 01; ARID OPERATED VJITHIPI THE CITY OF FAYET`,EVILLE." The Ordinance was read in its entirety by the City Attorney, and by agreement w eferred to the Ordinance Committee for study and recommendation. st No 6 une Cons ruction o. 'he City Building Inspector presented the application of Dave Rose for a Building Permit it North College & Sycamore, Alderman Pratt made a motion that Permit No. 1206 be issued )ave Rose, this motion was seconded by Alderman Burge, and was passed unanimously by the louncil. The City Building Inspector presented the application of Leonard Kelley for Buildir 'ermit at the Monterey Ilotel, Alderman Burge made a motion that Bu'lding Permit No.1213 )e issued to Leonard Kelley, this motion was seconded by Alderman Tient, and was passed :nanimously by the Council. The City Engineer presented Estimate No. 6 of Tune Construction Co. for work on the Filter Plant amounting to X18,911.56, Alderr,aan Pratt made a motion that the Estimat be approved, this motion was seconded by Alderman Williams, and was passed unanimously by the Council. The City Attorney introduced a Resolution for an exemption order from the CIVIL AERONAUTICS Board authorizing the immediate provision of scheduled ails transports tion to the City of Fayeeiyteville, Alderman Williams made a motion that the Resolution be adopted, this :•otion was seconded by Alderman McAllister and was passed unanimously by the Council. RESOLUTION NO. 17-53. RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to ., petition the Civil AeronauticsBoard, Washington, D.C.,for an exemption order under the CIVIL AERONAUTICS ACT authorizing the immediate.provision of scheduled air transporta- tion to the City of Fayetteville. 'o buy The Player presented a letter from the Board of Public Affairs, which recommeded the purchase a 1954 Motorcycle, Alderman Pratt made a motion that the Mayor be authorize( V )torcycle o purchase a 1954 Motorcycle and to trade in the Old one for the best' price obtainable, his motion was seconded by Alderman McAlliste'r,'and was passed unanimously by the Counc: The question of the amount being paid members of the Police and Fire Depart - ents for their phone bills,was pre'sented,and it was brought out that at present they we one ills for being paid :;p;68 per monhth, which was less than the bills amounted to, Alderman Williams ade a motion that they be paid an amount to equal the present current rate of a two- >lkce & arty line per month, this"rnotion was seconded by Alderman Richardson, and was passed _remen unanimoudly by the Council.
