Minutes of the regular meeting of January 28th were read.and approved. P.S.A.Stice r.Marc A Stice appeared before the Council with a proposal to operate Lake_=Fayetteville t operat r his season, beginning April 1st and' for a period of seven months at a salary f $250.00 per month and the proceeds from the concession& at the lake:The City to recei, Lake 15 per cent of all over $3,OOO.in gross sales the operator may realize.Stice will hire wl Fayette- additional help is needed duri:4g the summer moni;;hs, and will pay the light bills. Ville Permits' for fishing and boating' will be sold for $5.00 for the sdason, or daily fishing and boating permits may be obtained for 50 cents each. rHeN Alderman Willems made a motion that the Mayor be authorized to enter Into a con, tract with Mr.Stice as outlined above, this motion was seconded by Alderman Pratt and wa I assed unanimously by the Council. The City Attorney introduced ''AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DISCHARGE OF ANY IR RIFLE, SPRING GUN, "B=-VIGUN OR AIR GUN WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF AY'ETTEVILLE; ARKANSAS. ° The Ordinance was read in its entirety by the City Attorney, Alderman Richard; ade a motion that the rules be suspended and the Ordinance placed on its second reading, his motion was seconded by Alderman Kent and was passed unanimously by the Council. The City Attorney then read the Ordinance the secondFtime, and after discussion lderman Williams made a motion that the runes be further suspended and the Ordinance laced on its third and final reading, this motion was seconded by Alderman Burge and wa: assed unanimously by the Council. The City -Attorney then read the Ordinance the yhird and final time. he Mayor then put the questioh "Shall the Ordinance pass?", and on roll call by the Clei he following vote was recorded; Ayes: "Richadson, Burge, Hunt, Pratt, Williams, MCAllistt [e.flin and Kent. Najrs : None. And the Mayor declared the Ordinance passed, as there were Ayes, and no Nays. Alderman Pratt made a motion that the emergencjs clause be adopted, this motion wi seconded by Alderman Kent, and on roll call -by the Clerk the following vote was recorded; ,yes: Richardson, Burge, Hunt, Pratt, Williams, McAllister, Heflin and Kent. Nays:None: ,nd the Mayob declared the emergency clause adopted, as there were S`Ayes, and no Nays. COPY OF ORDINANCE NO. 1016.
