ASS BETWEEN THE INTERSECTION OF SCHOOL STREET AND SECOND STREET AND THE INTERSECTION OF
OLLEGE AVENUE AND CENTER STREET IDT THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
BE IT. ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I. It' shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to park a
ehicle of any kind whatsoever on the proposed Highway 71 By-pass between the intersection
f School Street -"and Second -Street and the intersection of College Avenue and Center Striet
n the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. Any person viloating Section One of"ths•Ordinance shall be deemed
uilty of a misdemeanor; and, upon conviction thereof,shall be fined in any sum not less
han One Dollar ($1.00), nor more than Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00).

8, 19519 TOGETHER WITH ALL MAPS ,PLATS,CHARTS,AND RELATED DOCITMENTS,
WHEREAS, the City Councilof'the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, caused notice
to"be published that three (3) copies of Zoning Ordinance No.10029 as amended by Ordina
No.1005, to^ether with three (3) copies of all maps, plats,charts, and related document
were on file_in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,for

ORDINANCE N0, 1009.
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE'CODE OF TIHT'NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION
DESIGNATED AS PAMPHLET N.F.P.A.N0.30-L, IN PART, AND RELATING TO THE STORAGE, HANDLING,
AND USE OF FLAMABLE LIQUIDS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas, caused a notice
to be published that'it had' under consideration the adoption of an ordinance relating to
the storage,haridling;and use of flamable liquids as set forth in"the code of the National
Ffre Protection Association designated as"Pamphlet NFPA No.30-L", and
"WHEREAS, the requisite"niimber of copies of said code were kept on file as pro-
vided by Act 267 of the Acts of Arkansas for the year 19499 and there have been no protes
or suggestions or requests for discussion, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, finds that it
ip the best interest of the City ofF yetteville that the above code of the National Fire
Protection Association designated as fl Pamphlet NFPA No.30-L,-be substantially adopted
e6ept for those amendments hereinafter set forth:
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IST ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:

aiopted by the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,except as hereinafter provided.
SECT ION"2. That Section 104.06 of Pamphlet NFPA No. 30-L be and the same is here
amended to read as follows:
"104.06.11'Chief" shall mean the' "City Engineer and shall include"any officer,member
or inspector deputized for the purposes of this ordinance"by the Chief. The Chief of the
Fire Department shall serve the chief in an advisory capacity for the purposes of this
ordinance.
SECTION 3. That Section 104.07 of Pamphlet NFPA No.30-L be and the same is here
amended to read as follows: -
"104.07: "City"Council" shall mean the duly elected and constituted City Counci
of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
SECTION 4. That Sect ion"202),.01 of Pamphlet-NFPA No.30-L be and the same is h
d leted and omitted from the operation of this ordinance.
