Absent : Alderman Riuhardson Representatives of the Standard'0il Company appeared before the Council with andard a request for permiission to install a 50,000 -gallon storage tank. The Company had started St or- work on the installation `of"the tanks but had been stopped by a Munibipal:.Court order tank obtained ­by -the City;Tanks of -this size are not allowed in the City limits under an ordil.; nance. Company representatives agreed to hold up work until the City makes a study of the ordinances of other cities and take some action.
