Alderman Richardson made a motion that the appointment of the committees be

City Engineer Mahaffey presented ENGINEER'S ESTIPFATE NO.2, for work &: Materials

The Contractors payment estimate No.4 and final amount due Forsgrer_ Bros,
n contract No.3 Fayetteville Plater Transmission Lines for $1,916.19 was presented, and

The Mayor presented a letter from Dr.R.E.Smallwood, staimg that Harry B.Sander ,
anitarian had attended the annual meeting od the Arkansas Public Health Association at
ittle Rock, December 7th"&8th, as a part of his official duties and recommended that the
ity pay his TRAVEL expenses amounting to 724.24, Alderman TTcGoodwin made a motion that
his amount be paid to Marry B.Samders, This motion was seconded by Alderman Kincaid, and
as passed unanimously by the Council.
The Playor reported that he had an agreement with C.O.Pardue of Springdale tp operate
he City Dump and pay the City X500 per Year for the PRIVILEGE, Alderman Pratt made a no -
ion that the .T;Iayor be authorized to enter ihtl and sign a contract with C.O. Pardue for
peration of the City Dump; this motion was seconded by Alderman Kent, and was passed
n animously by the Council.

if they can get ready by that time, and if not, to start January 18th, and in any event

in Litt_le�Roclj, January 18th s; 19th to formulate plans for Civil Defense, Alderman Pratt
bade a motion that Mayor, T.embers of the Civil Defense and the Fire Chief be authorized
attend this meting, this motion was seconded by Alderman T°?cGoodwin, and was passed unan
'mously by the Council.
The-11ayor reported that it had been the custom to give all City employees a
10.00 y10.00 bonus at Christmas time, but that it had been overlooked at the last meeting in
onus ecember to present the matter to the -Council, but that he had taken the authority to
aymt ave the bonus paid, Alderman Pratt made a motion to approve the action of the mayor in

Aidcrman Richardson made a motion that the Fayetteville Plumbing Co.be paid

Alderman Richardson, chairman of the Hospital Committee, reported that he, had
