Alderman Bohe introduced an Ordinance, entitled "ANORDINANCE AUTHORIZING TIE
URCHASE OF TWO TANK CAR LOADS ( 20, 000) GALLONS ) OF OIL FOR THE ST REST DEPARThIENT OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEV'ILLE, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES."
The Ordinance was read in its entirety by the Clerk, Alderman Kent .made a mot9

repairs to the City streets and the functions required of the Street Department cannot be
maintained with -out the purchase of said oil. (BIC -I and h?C-3 Cutback Asphalt)

Section 1. There is hereby appropriated out of the Street Fund the sum of
hree Thousand Dollars .-($3,000.00) for the purpose of purchasing two tank car loads
X20,000 gallons of oil.

Section 2. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby directed to advertise for bid.1
or said oil as set forth in their ecormendation and to proceed with the awarding of a

ice RTS. (1) Instead of turning around at the corner of Leverett,and North Streets,
e proposed to go Nest on North Street and then North on Garland'Avenue for a couple of
locks before turning around for a return trip on the same route.
(2) On S1.Lnda7 at 9:30 A.M. and 1:30 P.M. on our Terry Village run to go South
from Terry Village on Razorback Road to Highway 62 before turning around for the return
trip via the Village and Campus, thus making it possible to accommodate some of those wh
