AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE VACCINATION OF ALL DOGS IN "_'-
HE CITY OF FAYEPTEVILLE,
_RKANSAS, PRESCRIBING PENALTIES, AND FOR OTHE R PURPOSES.
TIE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITYCOUS'CIO OF TEE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. All -dogs in the City of Fayetteville shall be vaccinnated annually* against
abies.
Section 2. As a prerequisite to the issuance of the city dog license,there shall. be
resented to the official issuing such' license in the City of Fayetteville, a certificate
f a licensed Veterinarian shaowing that such dog has been vaccinnated within one year
1rior to the date ofthe issuance of such license.
ection 3. Metal tags evidencing vaccination for rabies shall be attached to the harness
r collar of all dogs in the City of Fayetteville.
ection 4. Any person, firm, or corporation who shall permit any dog to run at. large in
he City of Fayetteville without first having such dog vaccinnated for rabies at least
nee in each year, shall be guilty odf a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined
n any sum not more than 9'25.00, and in addition thereto the dog or dogs may be impounde
nd destroyed as in cases of failure to pay the Fayettevville City Dog License.

rom old machine and $500.00, and that his recommendation was that the trade with Lloyd Coonce
nonce was the best deal for the City, and Alderman McGoodwin made a motion that the Mayor be
authorized to purchase the machine form Lloyd Coonce, subject to the approval of the
oard of PUBLIC AFFAIRS, this motion was seconded by Alderman Richardson, and was passed
nanimously by the Council.
There being no further busihess, Alderman Richardson moved to adjothrn,seconded by
lderman Kent, which was passed unanimously by the Council, and the Mayor declared the
ouncil adjourned.
